Choosing the Lions Program

Things don't always go according to plan or the way we want them to. That's why we wanted to make a difference and get to the root of the problem - and that's why we decided to join the Lions program!
Over the next two years, this will enable our managers to define a framework and guidelines to support individual development.

We entered the Lions program with curiosity and a desire to strengthen ourselves and our team. From the very first events, starting with the kick-off meeting, there was an open exchange - a good opportunity to share personal and professional challenges.
The first individual coaching sessions took place in the following workshops. It was about self-assessment and analyzing what exactly needs to be done to turn your dream into reality. This step helped us to define concrete steps for our individual development.

A highlight of the program was the icebreaker moment in the second workshop, which encouraged us to deepen our communication and mutual trust. By addressing questions such as "Is what I'm communicating being received correctly by my counterpart?" or "Was a topic received negatively but didn't actually have a negative connotation?" we were able to develop a greater mutual understanding and clear up misunderstandings.

Our participation in the Lions program workshops gave us a lot to take home with us. We were able to face personal challenges and our own weaknesses in order to make a positive difference, in line with our motto, "Be Committed to Positive Impact. In order to bring about positive change, however, it was first necessary to become aware of our own situation. There is often a desire to change things that we don't like. But in order to do that, we have to face our problems and weaknesses, because that is the only way to bring about real change.

The Lions program gives us the opportunity to recognize our potential and promote mutual understanding. Leadership development goes far beyond the professional context!
