The company faced significant challenges with its outdated inventory management and ERP solution, which no longer met the growing demands of the business. The company was using Odoo modules for purchasing, sales, manufacturing, inventory management, and partial time tracking. After a cyberattack, however, the systems were completely encrypted, jeopardizing the company's operations. A rapid solution was needed to restore functionality and resume customer service.

Solution

In response to the cyberattack, OBS quickly implemented a new solution using Odoo. Within just four days, OBS had set up the first server and initiated the system restoration process. The goal was to get the company back up and running swiftly, ensuring that customer service could resume. Just 14 days after the attack, Odoo was fully live, and the company was back in operation with the support of OBS.

Odoo's web-based architecture enabled seamless implementation across all locations. The multi-company functionality and other advanced features were quickly rolled out at each site. Centralized control over data, import, and export ensured smooth operations without any gaps. The consistent structure of the modules and user-friendly interfaces, including powerful filtering and grouping functions, made the system intuitive and efficient to use.
